Description: During 24 hours my team and I developed Synaptic, a tool that generates VR music videos using AI. It allows users to authorize and share their creations using blockchain.

Winner of the MIT Media Lab Reality Virtually Hackathon
Widely regarded as the epicenter of technological research and innovation, MIT Media Lab hosted what many consider to be the most prestigious virtual reality hackathon in the world.
By the end of the first day, 105 teams were formed, including the team “Ideate AR”, created with a goal of redefining the future of sharing ideas.
Description: Ideate AR is a collaboration tool that allows users to physically pull content from whiteboards, print material and their favorite devices into a shared holographic workspace.
Technologies used: Magic Leap, PTC/Vuforia, Autodesk Forge.

WOMEN IN AI & MR HACKATHON AT THE MICROSOFT REACTOR
More than 100 tech enthusiasts convened at Microsoft’s San Francisco Reactor for the immersive, 48-hour Women in AI and Mixed Reality Hackathon. With virtual reality-enabled laptops and motion controllers in tow, participants worked to create experiences using cognition technologies to help society solve various challenges. During 48 hours, my team and I created Myndful.
Description: Myndful is a tool for facilitating childrens meditation in the classroom through the use of interactive characters in an Augmented Reality space using HoloLens.

AWE EU 2018 – AUGGIE BREAKTHROUGH AWARDS FINALIST
The Auggie Awards, which are popularly referred to as the “Oscars of VR/AR/MR”, have been awarded annually at Augmented World Expo (AWE) Conferences since 2010. Serving as the culmination of the each year’s largest AR/VR event, the Auggies represent the most prestigious peer recognition in the industry and celebrate the full diversity of the industry, from games and enterprise solutions to tools and hardware. Previous Auggies have gone to projects such as the Vuforia Engine, Microsoft Hololens, and The Raft.
In 2018, over 100 projects by the world’s best universities, research institutes, and individuals were submitted for consideration. The submissions spanned 32 countries. My project Noland was one of the 20 finalists for the Breakthrough Auggie Awards. It was fantastic to experience all the trends and tech that will carry forward in 2019. Great to meet enthusiastic and motivated participants.
